Melissa S., 37, Plantar Fasciatis


I started doing Bikram Yoga in late October 2006 after overhearing a coworker talk about it. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do Bikram because of raging plantar fasciitis in my right foot.

The first few weeks (coming 5-6 days/week) were the hardest. My right foot would cramp up and I'd have to back off the last few postures in the standing series. It is Dec 06 and I have been doing Bikram for 2 solid months now and I can happily report that my plantar fasciities has gone away and I can complete the standing series without cramping up and I can now wear all of my favorite shoes, too.
